Hello, and welcome to my site. My name is Richard Haynes. Iam a Physical Therapist Assistant and Certified Personal Trainer with the American Council on Exercise. I am a rehabilitation and fitness consultant living in Punta Gorda, Florida. I provide information and consultation for patients and clients that have had a hip or knee replaced, and need further information about rehabilitation or, how to increase their current level of fitness after joint replacement. Not only getting yourself back to a full recovery important but, now is the time to get back into your best physical condition that you possibly can.
I have a personal web-log that you can read and review at www.rhaynes.blogspot.com. It will contain information that you can use for hip and knee rehabilitation along with strength, cardio, and nutritional information designed for the joint replacement patient or, older adult that wants to improve their overall fitness levels after an orthopedic surgery.
Keeping you educated and informed about the rehabilitation of your knee, hip, or shoulder replacement and the expected outcome, gives you the confidence you need to forge ahead and get the most out of your joint replacement experience.
I can also assist you with information regarding your rehabilitation and exercise programs if you have suffered fractures in the lower extremities and have knowledge that will help you if you have suffered a fractured Femur and, need or want information on the rehabilitation and strengthneing process.

This site was created for orthopedic patients and clients that have had fractures or elective surgeries such as a hip or knee replacement. Strength training not only builds and creates better overall health after surgery but, also improves your apperance and builds incredible self esteem and self image. By living a healthier lifestyle it puts you to the front of the class in society due to the many benefits gained from weight training and healthier living.
Natural strength training improves many aspects of your overall health and appearance. The mental discipline involved also carries over into every other area of your life. After having suffered an orthopedic injury or having a knee or hip replaced, our biggest battles lie ahead of us not only physically but mentally. Preperation breeds confidence prepare today for the future. Your well being and health in the years ahead will depend more on your self reliance and educating yourself.
The medical community continues to research and develop new technology that will help us live longer and, make our surgeries and rehabilitations shorter and more efficient. However in the medical community today many patients like yourself due not get the time or attention required to make informed decisions and are hustled through the system without getting all your questions answered.
Through proper exercise and nutrition, you can expect to get the most out of your joint replacement and build a stronger, healthier body that will carry you in the years ahead if the needed information is given to you in a clear consise manner from the start.
With medical benefits continuing to be reduced and premiums rising, rehabilitation services are slowly being reduced leaving you the patient to continue on with your own recovery.
By giving you the information you need to continue an effective exercise and rehabilitation program whether its a knee, hip, or shoulder replacement, you can then reach your full potential and leave nothing to chance. Having a successful rehabilitation process along with feedback to keep you on track will assure you of the best possible outcome you can achieve.
The purpose of this website I created is to take the confusion out of your rehabilitation and give you answers to your questions that are thought out and customized to fit your needs. Being frustrated and left to figure it out for yourself is not what rehabilitation should be all about.
Life is too short not to get the information you need and exercise programs that will get you results after all else has failed.
